Gospel Goes Classical on Gospel Groove

Vernice Watson – the name in Gospel Music circles is synonymous with ‘THIS WOMAN IS NOT A JOKE”!!!, which simply means, she means business. As Executive Director of The Artist Company International, she leads the only company with a singular focus on marketing Gospel music domestically and internationally. She’s a music industry icon leading a team of marketing professionals that have developed promotion campaigns for more independent Gospel labels, and exposed more Gospel artists to domestic and international markets than any entity in the music business.
Sunday’s interview on Gospel Groove takes a closer look at this ground-breaking event, it’s history, it’s significance in the industry and it’ future.  In honour of Gospel Goes Classical, Gospel Groove will also play more classically oriented Gospel Music and share a special live in-studio treat!

Gospel Groove goes to Toronto Gospel Film Fest (TGFF)

Considering what the secular world has made of the arts & entertainment industry, I know traveling all the way downtown to the Art Gallery of Ontario is something foreign to our Christian community, but I thank you all for making the trip. Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America. It has a world renowned arts community and is home to, debatably, the second largest Film Festival in the world. I felt it was necessary to bring the Church, regardless of class, culture, or color, to Toronto’s already established arts community to be a light to the world. The tremendous and shocking loss within the Gospel Music iIndustry

- Donna & Donald Creer

The Gospel Industry is very shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of our industry media giants, whose lives were unceremoniously snuffed out in a suspicious fire at their home in Arkansas during the wee hours of the morning in June 2013.

See the adjacent video tribute to them and their substantial contribution to the industry.
